How to install:
For Win User:
Copy the folder “RTFX extension” to the directory C: \ Users \ XXXX \ AppData \ Roaming \ Adobe \ CEP \ extensions
Launch AE, go to the menu “Window” – “extensions” – “RTFX”
After the generator starts, click on the arrow (lower left corner of the toolbar) and specify the path to the RTFX.pack file from the “RTFX pack” folder. We are waiting for a few seconds.
For MAC User:
Open Finder
Press Command-Shift-G and insert this path: ~ / Library / Application Support / Adobe /
There should be a folder “CEP”, if not, create (without quotes) ;
In the folder “CEP” should be a folder “extensions”, if not – create (without quotes) ;
In the “extensions” folder, copy the “RTFX extension” folder from the distribution;
Open the terminal, write “defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.9 PlayerDebugMode 1” there (without quotes) ;
Go to AE in the settings enable the checkbox “Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network”;
In AE – Window> Extensions> RTFX;
After starting the generator, click on the arrow (lower left corner of the toolbar) and specify the path to the RTFX.pack file from the “RTFX pack” folder.
Note:
– Remove old version of this pack:
– If you click on RTFX and nothing will happen
Following manipulations:
– A. Open the registry editor;
– B. Find this key:
For CC 2014: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Adobe \ CSXS.5
For CC 2015: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Adobe \ CSXS.6
For CC 2017: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Adobe \ CSXS.7
– C. Click mouse button: Create-String parameter. As the name is PlayerDebugMode (without spaces), in the Value column, put 1
